This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Playden Maldives ("Playden", "we", "us") collects when you visit playden.mv, shop with us online or visit our store, and how we use and protect it. We collect only what we need to serve you, and we never sell your personal information.

Playden Maldives runs the playden.mv website and the Playden Malé store on Lonuziyarai Magu, Malé, Republic of Maldives. Playden is operated by DEPLOY PVT LTD (C01932020). If you have any questions about your personal information, contact us using the details in Section 11.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Account details: your name, email address, phone number and password.

• Order and delivery details: delivery address, island, phone number, delivery notes and the items you buy.

• Customer support: messages, photos and other details you send us about an order, delivery or return.

• Kai, our shopping assistant: the questions you ask Kai and the answers it gives.

• In-store printing: files you give us to print, scan, laminate or bind. We use them only to complete the job.

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage data: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, products you view and items you add to your cart.

• Cookies: small files that keep you signed in, remember your cart and help us understand how the website is used. See Section 7.

Payment information

Card payments are handled by our payment provider. You enter your card details on the provider's secure payment page. Playden does not see or store your full card number or security code. We receive only the payment result, the payment reference and limited card details, such as the card type and last four digits.

4. Who we share it with

We share your information only when we need to, and only what is needed:

• Payment provider: to process your card payment.

• Delivery partners: ferry, speedboat and cargo services receive your name, phone number and island so they can deliver your order.

• Service providers: companies that host our website, send messages for us or provide analytics and AI tools such as Kai. They may use your information only to provide services to us.

• Authorities: when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

5. Children's privacy

Playden sells products for children, but our website and accounts are for adults. You must be 18 or older to create an account or place an order. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think a child has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.

6. Marketing

We send news, deals and offers by email, SMS or Viber only if you have agreed to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our messages or by contacting us. We will still send you messages about your orders.

7. Cookies

• Essential cookies keep you signed in, remember your cart and keep checkout secure. The website can't work properly without them.

• Analytics cookies help us understand which pages and products are popular so we can improve the website.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, parts of the website, such as the cart and checkout, may not work.

8. How long we keep it

• Account information is kept while your account is open.

• Order and payment records are kept for as long as Maldivian tax and accounting laws require.

• Printing files are deleted once your job is complete.

• Other information is deleted or anonymised once we no longer need it.

We use secure HTTPS connections, access controls and trusted service providers to protect your information. No system is completely secure, so keep your password private and tell us right away if you think your account has been accessed.

10. Your choices and rights

• View and update your account details at any time in your Playden account.

• Ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.

• Ask us to correct or delete your information. We may need to keep some order records for legal reasons.

• Unsubscribe from marketing messages at any time.
