Terms of Service
The terms for shopping with Playden Maldives: accounts, orders, card payments, island-wide delivery, returns and refunds, and our in-store gift wrapping and printing services.

Welcome to Playden. These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply when you visit playden.mv, create an account, place an order or shop at our store. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1. About us
Playden Maldives ("Playden", "we", "us") sells toys, games, books, stationery, school supplies and baby essentials in the Maldives. Our store is Playden Malé, Lonuziyarai Magu, Malé, Republic of Maldives. Playden is operated by DEPLOY PVT LTD (C01932020).
2. Your account
You need an account to place orders online and to see your order history.
You must be 18 or older to create an account and buy from us. Children can use the website with a parent or guardian.
Give us accurate details, including your name, phone number and delivery address, and keep them up to date.
Keep your login private. You are responsible for all orders placed from your account.
3. Products and prices
All prices are in Maldivian Rufiyaa (MVR) and include GST where it applies.
We try to show products, colours and descriptions accurately. Packaging and colours may differ slightly from the photos.
Age ranges shown under "Shop by Age" and on product pages are guides only. Always check the manufacturer's age and safety warnings before giving a toy to a child.
Prices, stock and offers can change without notice. Deals are valid only while stock lasts and for the period shown.
If a product is listed at a clearly wrong price, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.
4. Orders
Your order is confirmed when payment succeeds and you receive an order confirmation.
We may cancel an order, fully or in part, if an item is out of stock, if we cannot verify the payment, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel, you receive a full refund for the cancelled items.
You can track your orders in Account > Order History.
5. Payment
We accept American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and UnionPay cards.
Online card payments are processed securely by our payment provider. Playden does not see or store your full card details.
Your card issuer's own terms also apply to your payment.
6. Delivery
We deliver island-wide across the Maldives.
Delivery fees and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout before you pay. Deliveries outside Malé may be sent by ferry, speedboat or cargo, so delivery can take longer and costs more.
Please check that your delivery address and phone number are correct. If a delivery fails because of wrong details or because no one was available, we may charge for redelivery.
Responsibility for the items passes to you once they are delivered to your address or handed to your chosen ferry or cargo service.
7. Returns, exchanges and refunds
Check your order when it arrives. Report damaged, faulty or wrong items within [3] days of delivery, with photos, and we will replace or refund them.
Unused items in their original, unopened packaging can be returned or exchanged within [7] days of delivery or purchase. Bring or send the receipt or order number.
We cannot accept returns of opened toys, diapers and hygiene products, personalised items, or printing services, unless the item is faulty.
Approved refunds go back to the original card. Depending on your bank, they can take 7 to 14 working days to appear.
8. In-store services
Gift wrapping. Gift wrapping is free. Ask at the store counter.
Printing services. We offer colour and black-and-white printing, scanning, laminating and binding at our store. You are responsible for the content you ask us to print, and you must have the right to copy it. We may refuse to print unlawful, offensive or copyrighted material.
9. Kai, our shopping assistant
Kai is an AI assistant that helps you find and choose products. Its suggestions are general guidance, and it can sometimes make mistakes. Before you buy, always check the product page for price, stock, age range and safety information.
10. Using our website
You must not:
Use the website for anything unlawful or fraudulent
Try to hack, overload or disrupt the website, or use bots or scrapers
Use someone else's account or payment card without permission
Copy our content, images or branding for commercial use
We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.
11. Intellectual property
The Playden name, logo, website design and content belong to Playden or its licensors. Product names and brand logos, such as LEGO, Barbie, Hot Wheels and Smiggle, belong to their owners.
12. Liability
We sell products as supplied by their manufacturers. Any manufacturer warranty is provided by the manufacturer.
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under Maldivian consumer protection law.
13. Privacy
We use your personal information only to process orders, deliver items, provide customer support and improve our services. We do not sell your personal information. See our Privacy Policy for details.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated. Any order you place is covered by the Terms in force when you placed it.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Maldives. Courts in Malé decide any dispute.
